Regrets and Remedies

So you all saw my shoe lust/love here.  I was in Jeffrey NYC last weekend and tried these beauties on but alas I did not get them.

YSL peep toe pump
I tried to track them down everywhere I could think of; Neimans, Saks, Bergdorfs, Net a Porter, YSL, but no luck.  Oh they had the shoe but not in that gorgeous electric blue.  Basic navy just would not do.  So ever the industrious one, I found something similar.

My replacement is the Pour la Victoire Irina pump in the same electric blue that I was coveting.  It may not have the peep toe or the curve of the heel but hey, it's a third of the price.  What do you think?

  3. Love those! Great blue - I just picked up a cardigan in this shade for Spring. (If it ever shows up, hello, more snow.) And with the money you save buying these, you can buy more shoes. That, my friends, is rationalization at its finest.
    Love your blog!
