First I spotted this color blocked skirt that I thought was so pretty. It wasn't until I got it home that I realized how lovely it will look with one of yesterday's
Zara purchases.

And I'm especially excited to pair this outfit with my new Valentino shoes that I've been coveting (seen
here and
here). They arrived in the mail yesterday after I had Dean the shoe guy from Neiman's track them down for me.

I think these shoes will be spring staples for me. The heels are pretty low and the nude goes with EVERYTHING!

On a recent Saks run, I happened upon this uber-fabulous Stella McCartney cape trench. But for the price, I could not do it. So imagine my sheer delight today when I saw this at H&M.

This is just what I had been looking for and for a wee fraction of the price of the Stella McCartney number. My sister has a rule at H&M. She doesn't do well navigating her way there so I'm instructed to buy her one of everything I buy for myself. So ever the dutiful one, I bought two. We're both going to get tons of wear out of this.
