I wore my fun dotted dress with my fave new necklace which is my latest and greatest item of jewelry from last week's fine jewelry auction at Skinner. Thanks to my friend Lani of Mon Petit Chou Chou, I was schooled in the ways of picking up fabulous auction finds from Skinner. I bid online in advance but one of these days, I'd really love to get there to see the action first hand. How gorgeous is this necklace?!

Here's the much better photo from Skinner's website. Look at the detail of the seed pearls in the bow. I just love it.
And I posted the other day about the gorgeous green glass bead and crystal bracelet that was my other Skinner acquisition but I think that too deserves its closeup.
That necklace is gorgeous. You did well in the auction but yes I think next time visiting one of these in person is a must, so you can report back to us (I would get so nervous about moving me hand though, and as for online, I'm bad enough with Ebay...!)
ReplyDeleteLovely Skinner finds! Next jewelry auction I am dragging you to the live sale, much more exciting (though I do bid online for the most part on other sales). The jewelry auctions are just so much fun. And of course, we can grab lunch at Via Matta too! Love the dress. I stopped in Target last week but by the time I got there they were already picked clean of primo finds. Good score!
ReplyDeleteI'm LOVING the Skinner finds! You won't have to drag me to the next auction in person, I will be a willing participant!!! I also got one of the Tucker for Target dresses. Elisha just went to the South Bay Target 2 days ago and said there was plenty.
